Jamie-Lynn Sigler and fiancé Cutter Dykstra expecting their first child

Jamie-Lynn Sigler announced her engagement to Cutter Dykstra last month, and already the two have yet another exciting announcement — they are expecting a baby. The Guys With Kids actress and her baseballer beau will welcome their first child together later this year, Jamie’s rep confirms to Life & Style.

“The pregnancy was a shock,” a source tells the mag. “She just told the cast and crew of Guys.”

While being a new mommy is sure to have it’s challenges, Jamie says she’s been getting plenty of practice on the set of her NBC show. “It’s a lot of fun, it’s definitely a new chapter — being a mom,” she says of her role as Emily. “I grew up playing a kid and I think no matter how long The Sopranos went on, I would have always been the daughter — so the only way to get a departure from that was to play a mom.”

And Jamie won’t be doing it alone. Her best friend and fellow actress Joanna Garcia (Jamie was a bridesmaid in her wedding) is also expecting a baby, a girl, in May with her baseball pro hubby Nick Swisher.

“Jamie couldn’t be happier. Cutter is the perfect guy for her,” a source told Us Weekly last month of Jamie’s engagement to Cutter. “Although they have only been together for a year, they both know that this is it for both of them. They are both on cloud nine as are their families and friends.”
