I could go out on a limb and say that Abigail Breslin’s Academy Award nominated turn as Olive Hoover in Little Miss Sunshine is my favorite performance ever by a child actor. Yes, I used the superlative “ever” but having thought on it for a while I can’t think of a better one. While Little Miss Sunshine remains as it was, a nearly flawless film, the young actress who stole so many hearts has been growing up.
