Comedian Charlie Murphy made a stand-up appearance at Grambling University recently and his routine wasn’t going too well.  In traditional American audience fashion the crowd gathered to see the brother of Eddie Murphy launched into a series of boos voicing their displeasure.  Part of the comedian code is knowing how to manage a crowd when they ‘ve turned on you.  It’s part of the gig but Charlie Murphy went to a rather unusual chapter in the playbook for this instance.

Following some loud boos Charlie stopped his routine and asked his stage manager to come out on stage with the check he was receiving for the appearance.  He dropped a “referring to himself in 3rd person comment,” told the crowd f**k you and then tossed the check and mic on the stage and walked off.  Yikes!  Here’s Charlie Murphy’s Grambling stand-up tantrum as recorded by a fan in attendance:

Charlie Murphy knows when Charlie Murphy has had enough of Charlie Murphy booing.  From what I heard prior to the boos and subsequent Charlie Murphy outrage I think the crowd may have had the right to voice their displeasure.  I mean what the heck was Charlie Murphy riffing on anyways?
