Jennifer Love Hewitt has been nominated for her role in the Lifetime Original Movie “The Client List.” In the movie she portrays Samantha Horton a woman who turns to prostitution when her family falls on hard times. She then turns on her clients after being busted for cocaine possession.

“The Client List” drew in an audience of 3.9 million viewers, and was the highest rated program for the evening amongst female viewers between the ages of 18 and 49. Entertainment Weekly’s Ken Tucker considered it a typical Lifetime film that “offered cheap thrills….while offering moral uplift”. Calling it “malarky”, he felt that Hewitt was able to sell the film to the audiences due to her “talent for communicating sincerity and charm.”
