Rue is lead character Katniss Everdeen’s (played by Jennifer Lawrence) close friend in the arena and plays a huge part in the storyline. Amandla recently revealed during an interview at Teen Nick’s HALO Awards that her signature whistle in the books has been replaced by singing in the film, something that will probably come as a huge shock to fans.
