Human Alphabet Letter E

The Pilobolus Dance Theatre Group create the letter E.

Photographer John Kane, 58 and the Pilobolus Dance Theatre Group work together to create human representations of the alphabet. Using six performance artists from the New York based dance collective, John photographed them in 26 different poses. Used as an educational aid and as a piece of art, the Pilobolus Human Alphabet has appeared everywhere from the Oscar ceremony to stage in the Big Apple. Claiming that the letter C and B were hardest, John and Pilobolus have collaborated for 12 years.
