Shep Smith’s Hurricane Matthew warning is the definition of dire

FOX News anchor Shep Smith dove all the way in while doing his best to try to warn viewers of the possible impending danger from Hurricane Matthew.

As the massive storm approached the Florida coast yesterday, Smith did his best Al Roker impersonation as he discussed the projected potential path. In doing so he went full fear mongering as he warned, “This moves 20 miles to the west and you and everyone you know are dead. All of you.”

He added, “Because you can’t survive it. It’s not possible unless you’re very, very lucky.” Then Smith turned and looked directly into the camera and proclaimed, “And your kids die too.”

While Shep’s language was extreme, the death count in Haiti was substantial from the storm and there were mandatory evacuations up and down the southern Atlantic seaboard.

Stay safe out there y’all!
