During the season premiere of fashion PR powerhouse and The Hills antagonist Kelly Cutrone’s new Bravo show Kell on Earth, she addressed an issue from last year when one of her besties Ashley Dupre got her fired. Dupre is the infamous Eliot Spitzer call-girl who is now writing a sex and relationship advice column for The New York Post, and she had the audacity to sit in the front row of designer Yigal Azrouel’s show during fashion week in 2009.

No one really noticed at first, and Azrouel even posed with Dupre backstage without knowing who she was, but the gossip got to his ears fast and the next day he sacked Cutrone on the phone. Kell didn’t care, and stuck by her friend. The reason? We’re all hookers anyway, so who’s to judge?

Cutrone’s right, and the sweet way she sticks by her friend Ashley but still shoots down her dumb idea to rub salt in Azrouel’s wounds shows chutzpah. She’s a major b*tch with her head on her business and a heart of gold.

You’ve hooked us, Cutrone, especially with lines like this: “Half the people in the front row of a fashion show are sleeping with people for money, sometimes they’re just called wives.”

Kelly Cutrone also has a book coming out tomorrow, February 2, called If You Have to Cry, Go Outside: And Other Things Your Mother Never Told You.
