The real reason Reille Hunter should be embarrassed: The GQ interview

The shocking Rielle Hunter interview that hit the ‘netz today features lots of pants-less pictures of Johnny Edwards’ lover-woman and a long interview by a lady who thinks she’s living a Nicolas Sparks’ romance. CLICK HERE to read the full 10-page love-drunk mess on GQ.

She’s a 44-year-old woman who gives interviews like a dreamy-eyed and shortsighted 13-year-old girl. At many, many parts, Hunter comes off sounding just plain delusional, like when she insists to the reporter that she never hit on John Edwards, and then later recounts the story of how the first thing she told John Edwards was that he was hot. A few hours later she was rolling about in a hotel room with a married future presidential candidate.

Then there is the answer “Why do you think he loves you?”

“Um… How do I answer that? [long pause] I mean, I could give so many answers. I could give a spiritual answer, that I reflect back to him large parts of himself that were unconscious. Like, he’s a huge, huge humanitarian. He is very kindhearted and sweet. He’s very honest and truthful. And all of that was hidden.”

Yes, the fact that John Edwards is an honest guy was hidden from us all because he publicly lied a few times on public television. How very wrong of us to think that someone who lies is dishonest, shame on us!

Rielle seems convinced of the the fact that “Johnny” was is desperate need of saving when he met her, and she could save him. She tried to save him with her love-making, and with her documentary skills to bring him into “the truth”. The truth being that, of course, Edwards was very much embroiled in a hot-and-heavy love affair with Rielle that resulted in a baby: Frances Quinn Hunter. Nevermind the fact that he publicly denied any chance that he could be Frances Quinn’s father and even hatched up a plan to make his aide Andrew Young take the fatherhood fall. Rielle say that was just an acted of traumatized desperation and that everyone in the whole world should forgive him for lying to us because he “wasn’t in his right mind.”

Hunter told Barbara Walters today that she thought the photos GQ chose to include in the shoot, along with the one above of Kermit and Barney looking towards her lady business, were repulsive. She did pose, for the pics, so . . .

Forget the creepy muppet photo, Rielle Hunter should be embarrassed about this interview the way a 17-year-old girl is embarrassed about what a fool she’d made of herself when she was “in love” with that boy named Johnny who only liked her for the blow-jobs.

As for the “real work” Rielle Hunter was doing for Johnny Reid Edwards on the campaign trail, check the webisode below. Nice touches on the cheesy music and liberal use of comic sans. Reportedly Rielle was paid a cool $114000 to produce these little glimpses into John Edwards’ soul. His soul!
