The Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney is denying reports that she died yesterday in a jet ski crash “while on a personal vacation in Turks and Caicos.”
The report surfaced on the Global Associated News web site and stated:
Actress Tamara Barney died while on a personal vacation in Turks and Caicos early this morning from injuries sustained in a Jet-Ski accident – November 9, 2011
Preliminary reports from Turks and Caicos Police officials indicate that the actress struck a concrete boat slip in a marina on Parrot Cay in the Turks and Caicos Islands. Tamara Barney was the only passenger on the personal watercraft at the time of the incident. Specific details are not yet available.
The accident occurred at approximately 8:45 a.m. (UTC/GMT -4 hours).

Good morning. I had a wonderful night sleep after yesterdays false tragic death reports. What a stressful day….ended up with a migraine ! Even though it was obviously a rumor I had to spend the whole day calling friends and family that were actually crying, then had to explain it to my 3 young kids in case someone asks them at school today. I think this is perfect example of tabloids going way to far?
Hmmmm… I dunno. It’s hard to tell from just her written words, but I think Tamra might be lying. These reality stars will do anything for more attention! I’m hoping she will do an interview to address the rumors – I think I could get a better read on whether or not she’s telling the truth if I could actually see her body language while she’s talking.
