Soundgarden reunite after 13 years for surprise show in Seattle.

Grungers rejoice!  Seattle superstars “Soundgarden” reunited on Friday night for their first show in over thirteen years.  They were billed as “Nude Dragons” an anagram of “Soundgarden”.  Those clever Seattleites.  Even billed as “Nude Dragons” the show sold out quicker than a Jesse James mistress.

Tickets went for as much as $2,500.00 and if you are hardcore into “Soundgarden” it would have been worth it.  The show kicked off around 10PM with “Spoonman” off of the 1994 mega-seller “Superunknown”

“You’re kind of witnesses to our rehearsal” lead singer Chris Cornell told the crowd, referring to their upcoming Lollapalooza tour.  Here is the setlist from the show.  Following a few of the tracks is an audio clip from the performance including “The Doors” cover / closer Waiting For the Sun.  The sound quality is pretty terrific!
