Kanye West and his baby mama Kim Kardashian will welcome their first child this summer and while they’ve decided to keep the baby’s sex a secret (although it’s rumored to be a girl), one of the names they are considering has reportedly leaked. The Kardashians are known for their use of “K” names but from the sound of things, Kanye isn’t on board with taking that route. Instead, he’s focused on what will go best with his last name.
According to a new report, Kanye has a whole list of names but at the top is North. You know, as in North West — and he’s totally serious about it. He even announced the name to his friends in Paris while working during fashion week.

“Kanye’s ego is something else, so he’s quite serious about the title,” a source tells The Sun. “He also has a sense of humour though and knows how his self-indulgence is seen by the general public. It’s half tongue-in-cheek, half what Kanye probably feels is true.”
North West does have a ring to it but South West would make more sense considering their place of residence — that is if they are set it the whole naming your baby after an ordinal direction thing.
Earlier this month, Kim suffered a miscarriage scare following her trip to Paris. Once she landed in Los Angeles, she was rushed to the hospital where doctors determined there was nothing serious wrong but did encourage Kim to slow down a bit.
Kim and Kanye are expecting their child to arrive sometime in July which is also when the royal baby is due.
