NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! It looks like our next ride on the Ramona coaster will have to wait as Bravo has swapped out Turtle Time for Flamingo Time! The fourth season of The Real Housewives of New York City was originally scheduled for a February 15th premiere but has reportedly been moved back to the spring to make way for The Real Housewives of Miami, which will kick off its first season on February 22.

There has been no official word from Bravo or from the ladies via Twitter of Facebook, but the February 15 date has disappeared from all of Bravo’s marketing, and in an article about the Miami series today People magazine tossed in this little bit of info:

Though Bravo had initially announced that the Real Housewives of New York City would be premiering its fourth season in mid-February, the show is now expected to debut in the spring.

UPDATE – I just read an article in The Washington Post in which they wrote this:

“The Real Housewives of New York City’s” fourth season will sit on the shelf until later in the spring, Bravo said. Apparently, the producers needed more time to wrap up work on that season of “TRHoNY” – Bravo loves having the episodes in the can to steep for a while.

UPDATE – Andy Cohen has spoken! He addressed the premiere swapegery with the Los Angeles Times:

“No conspiracy here, folks,” said Andy Cohen, executive vice president of original programming and development for Bravo. “We have an embarrassment of riches with Miami and New York, and can assure you that the Real Housewives of NYC will be well worth the wait, and the Real Housewives of Miami is hot, hot, hot.”

I’m as excited as the next person for the Miami series (you can see the trailer and preview clips HERE) but not at the cost of having to wait for my Big Apple drama fest!

If anybody out there sees confirmation anywhere let us know in the comment section below and we’ll add it to the post 🙁
