REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA
Season 2 Episode 2 Recap (Part three)
In the final scene that Bravo has been promoting since before the second season even started, NeNe, Sheree and Kim meet to clear the air at the restaurant Fab. Kim does a good job of easing the tension by pulling out a bikers helmet she brought along and declaring that the other girls can put their heels in her F***in’ brain! NeNe announces the meeting is an intervention and things go downhill from there. The girls manage to make ZERO progress when Kim gets defensive about accusations that she said NeNe rented her house and the screaming begins. The spectacle continues with Kim swearing something or another on the life of her kids, talk of Sheree bouncing checks and Sheree calling Kim “trailer trash,” at which point Kim leaves and the other girls chase after. (We learn the obvious fact that NeNe doesn’t run very well in high heels.) Then Bravo does the unnecessary and pulls the old “To Be Continued…” stunt! What? They didn’t have to do that! The Atlanta Housewives aren’y like the Jersey wives where interesting things never happen and when they do you need to draw them out! DAMN! Let the scene play out! You know we’ll be back next week anyway! Bleh. We did get some interesting foreshadowing when NeNe reveals she thought Kim was being straight and she says, “Hell! I don’t know who to believe!”
The end kinda sucked, but otherwise another great episode! If this were an Olympic event, here is what the medal stand would look like:
Bronze Medal: Aunt Bertha
Silver Medal: Kim and NeNe drankin’ and tittay ticklin’
Gold Medal: Tushy by Sheree (A moment of silence as we play the national anthem for Junkindatrunkistan)
