Random celebrity couples out on the streets of New York City aren’t my favorite posts to work up but a number of things intrigued me about these candid shots of Marisa Tomei and boyfriend Logan Marshall-Green.
The first thing that stood out is how unfazed the two appear while riding a tandem bicycle. Before these images I did not know if it was possible to look austere and important bi-bicyling but these images are proof it can be done. There are no smiles, no silly faces from riding a silly bike, just two people getting from point A to point B together on a tandem bicycle.
The second thing that jumped out was those pants that Tomei is sporting. I have solidly been in the “I can’t imagine Marisa Tomei not hot club” but those pants have opened the door to the possibility. Despite the floral eyesore britches I still think she’s hot anyway.
The last thing I noticed from these images is the subtle combination of Hollywood celebrity sheik combined with, of all things, a tandem bicycle. You’ve got sexy people, an unidentified brown bag with a cool logo, designer shades and footwear that cries out, “Hey we’re just like everybody else.” And then there’s a ridiculous tandem bicycle. I have to give it up for the lovebirds as each photo shows legs and pedaling feet in unison, two souls together in rhythm and time.
Most of you are familiar with Tomei from her many starring roles in films including My Cousin Vinny, In the Bedroom and The Wrestler. As for her cougar meat, one Mr. Logan Marshall-Green, he’s best known for his TV work on The O.C., 24 and currently Dark Blue on TNT.
