ShoWest 2010 nearly became ShowBreast 2010 when Katherine Heigl’s dress strap snapped during her acceptance speech for Female Star of the Year, almost giving audience members in attendance at Paris Las Vegas a glimpse of a very intimate part of her Grey’s Anatomy.
Almost.
Sparing her from an unintentional Janet Jackson moment were her own lightning-quick reflexes and the show’s emcee Billy Bush, who held her strap in place as she finished her speech.

I can’t believe I’m writing an article about Katherine Heigl, straps, a wardrobe malfunction and Bush and it’s completely disappointing! But let’s not let the fact that Katherine’s boob didn’t pop out take away from her night.

Heigl demonstrated her great timing and flair when she almost captivated audiences with her globe! Congratulations Katherine!
UPDATE – Here’s a video from E! News from just before the mishap in which Heigl actually reaches around to her left shoulder blade and says, “Oh, I think I just popped something.”
