Mad Men‘s resident brunette babe showed off her lightened locks at the 38th International Emmy Awards at the New York Hilton and Towers on November 22, 2010.
Could it be that Elisabeth Moss is relinquishing her role as one-third of the Mad Men Neapolitan hair color trifecta that includes red-headed Christina Hendricks and the very blond January Jones and trading in her brunette mane for lighter locks?
The 28-year-old actress showed up at the 38th International Emmy Awards in New York last night sporting a lighter hair color and wearing a nude-colored gown with some fairly bizarre asymmetrical shoulders.
The blond ‘do is nothing new for the actress, most famous for her television roles as first daughter Zoey Bartlet on The West Wing and Mad Men‘s aspiring female advertising exec Peggy Olson. She’s often flirted with lighter shades, but always seems to revert back to her browntastic self, so I think Peggy O admirers and hair-obsessed fans of the show can relax and assume the holy trinity of hair will remain intact.
