Tired of having those commitment-hungry men hanging all over you constantly talking about settling down, having kids and never, ever breaking up? No problem! Now you too can smell like loneliness thanks to a brand new perfume by Jennifer Aniston called
In keeping with the notion of a perfume designed to repel instead of attract Mr. Right, Aniston describes her fragrance to Women’s Wear Daily as “a nonperfume perfume.” She goes on to say:
“It’s been a year-and-a-half journey. I’d been asked to do things before, and it never felt organic. But when [the Falic Fashion Group] approached me to be involved with the process from inception to fruition, I thought, ‘This could be a creative expression.’ And it’s turned out to be an extension of myself as opposed to slapping my name on something.”
This is the first time Aniston has been involved with anyone from the Falic Group in which something came to fruition.
In case you haven’t guessed by now, the top photo is a spoof – an exclusive spoof, but a spoof nonetheless. Here’s the actual plain ol’ ad featuring a nearly nude Aniston all alone on a romantic beach at sunset wrapped in a blanket made for one. Click the image for a larger photo.
The perfume will initially be available exclusively in June at Harrod’s in the U.K. with an estimated price of around $47 for a 50-ml. But, if you wanted to get a sneak sniff, just head down to your local movie theater because it is rumored that Columbia pictures is using it to try to mask the fact that The Bounty Hunter is stinking up the box office.
