Update: This story was found to be incorrect, according to People. Her rep says “This story is 100 percent false. She’s not in labor. John is in route back to the U.S. as was always the plan for him to return this weekend.”

John Travolta, who was in Australia to celebrate the 90th Anniversary of Quantas Airline, flew home early Sunday morning to be with his wife Kelly Preston as she gives birth to their third child Benjamin.

The Daily Mail reports the pilot and actor was about to receive the key to Perth, Australia, during a charity event but had to leave because of news that Kelly was in labor.

John owns a personal Boeing 707, which he’s flying home on a 22 hour trip. This baby has been described as a “healing baby” for Kelly and John after they lost their 16-year-old son Jett in January 2009 during a Bahamas vacation. He suffered from autism, and his death was brought on by a seizure.

John and Kelly also have a 10-year-old daughter, Ella Bleu, who’s trying to break into the acting biz. While in Australia, John announced that they would name their baby boy Benjamin Travolta.

Kelly needs all the support she can get because she’s rumored to be undergoing a “silent birth,” which is a practice of Scientology. It requires no drugs, no music, and no screaming during birth in an effort to bring the child into a stress-free environment. They fear that sounds like screaming or moaning will negatively affect the child emotionally.

UPDATE: Kelly Preston gave birth to baby Benjamin Tuesday, November 23 in a Florida hospital, People reports.
