Golfer Jesper Parnevik and his wife Mia hired Elin Nordegren in 2001 to be an au pair, or nanny, to their children. Elin was introduced to Tiger through them, and now Parnevik is sorry he encouraged Elin to enter a relationship with Tiger. He’s so angry over adulterous allegations from a multitude of women, that he hopes Elin uses a better weapon the next time she attacks Tiger. Let’s hope there is no next time.
Here’s his statement to the Golf Channel:
“We probably thought he was a better guy than he is . . .I would probably need to apologize to her and hope she uses a driver next time instead of a 3-iron,” Parnevik said, adding that he has not spoken to Woods since the accident . . .It’s a private thing, of course, but when you are the guy he is — the world’s best athlete — you should think more before you do stuff … and maybe not ‘just do it,’ like Nike says.”
This is definitely a horrible situation for their marriage, and Elin should probably divorce him and rebuild her life, but a low-down-dirty-lying cheating spouse still isn’t a good reason for physical violence. All signed point to the probability that Elin engaged domestic violence after Tiger committed numerous acts of salacious adultery. No one’s an innocent angel here.
