Here are the first pics of David and Victoria Beckham’s new baby daughter Harper Seven, released via David’s Facebook and Victoria’s Twitter.
These people were already too beautiful, and then they have to go and do this to our eyes/egos? But seriously, these pics define “precious” in a whole new way.
David Beckham started this whole Facebook-black-and-white-baby-photography when he snuck a very posh baby bump pic of Victoria very late in her pregnancy, after Victoria insisted to People Magazine:
“I’m not really one of those people that likes to go out and pose and flaunt being pregnant. Not like there’s anything wrong in that.”

Harper Seven joined this world July 10, 2011, and had three brothers waiting for her: Brooklyn, 12, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 6. Her odd celebrity baby name sparked a maelstrom of speculation and one-liners (randomly naming a baby seven was the subject of an entire Seinfeld episode,) but David finally explained the complex meaning behind H.S.’s strange name on a Facebook video.
Where Seven came from:
“Part of it is because I had so much luck around wearing that number, wearing it for England, wearing it for Manchester United. It was such an influential number throughout my career, and a lucky number, but that wasn’t the main reason.
It symbolizes spiritual perfection, Seven Wonders of the World, seven colors of the rainbow, and in so many cultures around the world, it’s regarded as a lucky number. We love the name. We love Harper Seven.”
What about Harper?
It’s an “old English name,” but Victoria Beckham’s favorite book is To Kill a Mockingbird, was written by Harper Lee.
