One of the most harrowing traumas the true crime documentary A Murder In Mansfield reveals is the toll Noreen Boyle's murder took on her family. The film doesn't reveal the fate of Collier Landry's sister Elizabeth (or that of his unnamed half-sister), but when we spoke with Collier he explained his current relationship with both women.
When Collier Landry was eleven years old, his father, Jack Boyle, murdered Collier's mother Noreen in the middle of the night and hid her body from police for a month. After Jack was convicted, Collier resolved to "do something positive" with the tragedy. A Murder in Mansfield, the resulting documentary film, explores the necessary difficulty of working through trauma. Collier spoke with us about the filmmaking process, his extended (and estranged) family, and the importance of letting go.
A Murder in Mansfield, from Academy Award-winning director Barbara Kopple and filmmaker Collier Landry, is the story of the murder that shook Collier's life apart when he was just twelve years old. For the past 28 years, Collier has been almost completely cut off from his two siblings: his sister by adoption, who was three years old at the time of the murder; and his half-sister, born of his father's mistress the following year.

She was found in the back of the store by another manager who’d been called in to check on her and the store when she didn’t open the game shop on time. He found her suffocated with a bag. It took investigators over a year to find a suspect in Amber’s murder.
In 2009 11-year-old Jordan Brown was accused of murdering his pregnant soon-to-be future stepmother in cold blood and then going to school as if nothing had happened. A decade later the now exonerated 20 year-old is speaking out about his experience: "I had no idea what was going on."

six charges stemming from her alleged assault of a middle schooler at the child's school, Tommie was arrested
again. This time, the charges include aggravated stalking, and involve trying to hide from a police officer who knew she was home at the time.
Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Tommie's most recent arrests may also be her most shocking. The 34-year-old -- whose real name is Atasha Jefferson -- was taken into police custody earlier this week after apparently assaulting a middle schooler at the child's school.

Lifetime’s Sunday night movie Terror in the Woods deals with a pair of preteen girls stabbing their friend in the woods in the name of an imaginary or paranormal legend called “Suzerain.” The parallels between this story and the 2014 Slender Man stabbing of Payton Leutner are too similar to be a coincidence.
