Though we're only three episodes in, Love and Hip Hop Atlanta Season 5 has already shown us a full slate's worth of drama. And things are even more intense than usual from week to week, thanks to VH1's Check Yourself web series, during which cast members react to controversial scenes from the most recent episode without anyone around. This week, Tommie and Tia Becca both clapped back at each other while watching their scene with Scrapp–and Tommie's insult for Tia is one of the show's all-time greats!

The LHHATL Tommie criminal record story is true–and the source confirming it is none other than Tommie herself! After our Tommie mug shot extravaganza went viral last week, VH1 sat the newest Love and Hip Hop Atlanta cast member down for an interview–one in which she acknowledged that "Tommie" is a stage name, and that the alias attributed to her criminal past is her real name.
It looks like there might be a Love and Hip Hop Atlanta feud brewing between two long-time cast members and one new addition. Over the past few weeks, Lil Scrappy has said some pretty insensitive things about D. Smith, who's making headlines and winning praise as the show's first transgender cast member. And, though her comments weren't about the transgender community, Momma Dee waded into the fray during last week's episode, leading some viewers to believe that a war of words might be about to explode.
When is Scrapp from LHHATL getting out of prison? The 28-year-old hasn't featured too prominently on Love & Hip Hop Atlanta's fifth season, largely because he was imprisoned for part of the show's filming schedule. We previously reported on the drug trafficking charges for which Scrapp was sentenced; now, we know when to expect Scrapp–real name Will Cortez Robinson–to be released.
It seems Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star K. Michelle did not get Woody Allen's memo about 80 percent of success being just showing up. Earlier this month, the singer bailed on a fan event hosted by radio station WKYS 93.9 FM, and now it is reportedly biting her in her famously ample ass: as the station's parent company, Radio One, has reportedly banned K. Michelle from being played on its 52 radio stations!
Love & Hip Hop fandom has been going berserk this week, thanks to the LHHATL Tommie mug shots story that broke just before the show's most recent episode. In case you missed it: a report claims that Tommie is actually Atasha Jefferson, an alleged forger who's worked for Karen "KK" King and been arrested almost three dozen times. While Tommie didn't confirm the report, she did give a cool, composed brush-off to everyone throwing shade her way–read on to see what she had to say!
Another day, another set of rumors about a new Love & Hip Hop Atlanta cast member! Before the dust could even settle on news of the alleged criminal history of LHHATL's Tommie came a second report, this one leveling some pretty strong allegations against Tia Becca, and complete with a Tia Becca mug shot. But is there any truth to the claims? Read on for the latest!
News of the 2012 Karen King assault has captivated Love & Hip Hop fans since Season 5 premiered.
