Fans of TLC’s plural marriage reality series Sister Wives had to wait almost an entire year between previous seasons, but the wait for the return of the Brown family is much shorter this time around! TLC has just officially announced that Kody and his lady posse will return for a brand new season on November 21.

The Brown family of TLC’s Sister Wives can’t seem to stay in one place for more than a couple years. Less than two months after Kody Brown’s second wife Janelle Brown revealed that she has moved into a fifth wheel camper on Coyote Pass, his third wife Christine Brown has put her house up for sale! For a pretty big chunk of change!

The Discovery+ launch with all the seasons of Sister Wives offers fans of the show a chance to deep dive into how everything first started with the polygamous family when they debuted on reality television over 10 years ago. The series opened with an introduction to the daily ife of Kody Brown and his three wives (at the time,) but the crux of the plot for the season was built around bringing a fourth wife into the family after 16 years of the inital four of them being married.

A favorite phrase of Kody Brown and his wives on TLC’s Sister Wives is bringing up a “pink elephant in the room.” It’s an expression unique (and dear) to the Browns, but it borrows on two very popular metaphors.

The fabric of the polygamous Brown family irrevocably changed in 2014 when Kody legally divorced his first wife Meri Brown to marry his fourth wife Robyn so he could legally adopt her children from her previous marriage.

At the time, they stated that the change of legal marriage meant nothing because they were all celestially married. It did mean something symbolically to Meri, however, who struggled difficult feelings with the divorce and soon sought companionship outside the marriage with her catfishing scandal. To many fans of the who, it looked like maybe the legal marriage meant more to Robyn and Kody as well, because they left on a romantic vacation to Hawaii soon after their legal nuptials. Many viewers of Sister Wives refer to this as Robyn’s “second honeymoon.”

One of the many cliffhangers left after the Sister Wives Season 15 finale is whether or not Christine Brown’s daughter, Ysabel Brown, was able to get the spinal surgery she needed to correct the painful curvature of her spine due to scoliosis. Keep reading for the feel-good update on Ysabel!

During tonight’s episdoe of Sister Wives, Kody briefly left Janelle’s house to take Christine on a driving date. All the adults seem to have different interpretations on how they should treat social distancing during the pandemic, but there is a deeper issue keeping the family apart.

Season 14 of Sister Wives saw Kody Brown continue to fight for the dream of building a single, large home on their Coyote Pass property in Flagstaff, Arizona, but the theme of Season 15 seems to be that Kody is done with plural marriage completely. He voiced this sentiment directly and indirectly in a multitude of ways on episode 8 titled “Can I Light You Up?” during an awkward 30th-anniversary celebration with his first wife Meri. “Would every one of these women be better off married to a different guy?” Kody questions during the episode.
