Back in June, teen pregnancy prevention spokesperson Bristol Palin surprised everyone when she announced she was pregnant with her second child by her ex-fiance Dakota Meyer. Fast forward four months and Bristol, now seven and a half months along, is preparing for the reality of being a single mother yet again. Yesterday she finally revealed whether or not her son Tripp was getting a little sister or a little brother by posting a new baby bump photo and announcing her baby's sex in the caption. Bristol Palin says 2nd pregnancy was planned but “not the ideal situation”

Bristol Palin, who famously worked with the Candie's Foundation to educate young men and women about the "devastating consequences of teen pregnancy and parenthood," revealed last week that she is currently pregnant with her second child. The announcement comes a little over a month after Bristol broke off her engagement with fiance Dakota Meyer. Her announcement has drawn a good deal of criticism; today, Bristol took to her blog to respond to some of those critics, as well as share a sonogram, clear up her relationship with the Candie's Foundation, and clarify her stance on abortion.

In her blog entry she states "I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you."
