In a move no one saw coming ABC has cast former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol Palin for season 11 of Dancing With the Stars.
Bristol has been all over the news lately with her engagement and then un-engagement to baby-daddy Levi Johnston. Levi didn’t get any love from momma Palin and rumors of Levi infidelity led to an abomination of the couple’s reconciliation. Although Johnston and Palin will not be sharing their lives they will both bask in the new-world-order glow of reality stardom as Levi is currently taping his own show in which he is running for Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska.
E news had the scoop on this latest and surprising DWTS cast confirmation. This will be the teen-mom’s second gig with ABC as she appeared in The Secret Life of the American Teenager for ABC Family.
So the two folks that have been confirmed for DWTS via reports so far are David Hasselhoff and Bristol Palin!?! I hope the list of other performers gets a little better or the ratings generating machine that is DWTS could be in for a down season. According to Popeater, Sarah does support this endeavor and will be present in the front row to cheer her daughter on.
The official full cast announcement will be made during Monday night’s broadcast of The Bachelor Pad.
