One of the most fascinating details of the disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes’ saga is her voice. It’s oddly deep, but that isn’t strange on its own merit. Many women have naturally deep voices. There is something about Elizabeth’s that just sounds off, it’s an uncanny voice that doesn’t really sound like anyone’s natural voice, though it does kind of sound like Mira Sorvino’s put-on voice in Romy and Michele’s High school Reunion. There is also evidence to suggest that her voice is, in fact, fake. Some of it is heresay from those who knew her before she developed the public persona she used to market her company’s outlandish claims, but there are a few times when she publicly slipped up and we can get a glimpse of what she naturally sounds like.

Before Tom Girardi’s fall from grace, he was a celebrated lawyer supposedly fighting for the vulnerable and victimized. Part of this hero clout came from his work in the historic “Erin Brockovich case.” He stepped in to help Ed Masry and his assistant Erin Brockovich take on Pacific Gas and Electric Company in 1993 for contaminating the groundwater of Hinkley, California. The case was settled in 1996 for $333 million, a record-setting amount.

Although every word she says on RHOBH is picked apart and scrutinized, her recently revealed salary shows the franchise is a life-raft for her. A New York Times article published October 9, 2021, says Erika’s salary for this season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is “likely . . . more than $600,000.”

Erika Jayne has previously hinted that she might be working with the government in a case during an episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this year. Because of the multi-million dollar embezzlement allegations against her husband Tom Girardi, some people assumed she was talking about working with the feds against Tom. Now, a lawyer who’s suing her is backing up her claims, but says the case were she wore a wire for the government was a much different case where she was a victim of credit card fraud.

Podcaster Justin McElroy @hoopsmcelroy achieved TikTok notoriety when he uploaded a sample sound from a wonderfully weird 2007 Starburst commercial. He encouraged everyone to “make great art with this sound,” and boy did they ever. Not only did people use soundbite as it was uploaded, but they’ve remixed it a plethora of ways.

On August 12, 2021, almost two weeks before the last time Gabby Petito’s mother heard from her, Gabby and Brian were stopped by police in Moab, Utah. Body cam footage from this incident shows the couple talking to the police about an argument they had.

22-year-old “van life” influencer Gabby Petito was last seen Wyoming’s Grand Teton National Park in August, 2021. Her fiancé Brian Laundrie was with her before her disappearance, but he came home to North Port, Florida without her and has not given information on her disappearance. Now, he has gone missing too.
