Maybe the 80s really are back. We all though X Factor judge Cheryl Cole was doing a time-warp Sunday night with her big hair and brightly colored ruffled ensemble, but last night Sarah Jessica Parker showed us that Cheryl didn’t even have big hair. This is what big hair looks like!
SJP stepped out last night for 2011 Robin Hood Foundation Annual Benefit held at the Jacob Javitz Center in NYC in long purple gown, a beige and turquoise clutch, simple earrings, and hair styled with an entire bottle of Aqua Net.
Here’s a side view, showing her do added a good three-four inches to the actress’s height:
This year the Robin Hood foundation (no doubt with the help of SJP’s hair) raised $47.4 million to fight poverty. I’m not hatin’ on the hair, it’s really fun and daring. The charm of SJP is that she usually stands almost squarely on the line between adventurous fashion and ridiculous fashion, and still manages to stay on the right side of the line. Life’s too short to always play it safe.
