Larry King hung up his suspenders and signed off of his iconic CNN show last night, but it looks like his 10-year-old son Cannon King is ready to take the showbiz reigns.
He gave a hilarious impersonation of his dad fussing at him and his mom Shawn before the show.
“Get in the car. I’m too old for this. I’ve done this for 50 years . . . Stop doing your makeup. This is the last show. We’re going to be late.”
King has had this show with CNN for 25 years, and has logged 53 years total in broadcasting, but he’s not done yet. He’ll be back with specials for CNN, and is even talking about doing a tour over the U.S. with a live show.
“I don’t know what to say, except to you my audience, thank you. And instead of goodbye, how about so long?”
