Jessica Simpson is engaged! Former NFL tight end and Yale graduate Eric Johnson reportedly popped the question Thursday and Jessica was spotted Saturday sporting a HUGE diamond and ruby ring at a promotional event for her new clothing line at a Dillard’s department store in Kansas City.
The ring is by Neil Lane according to People and appears to feature a large ruby solitaire.
“She was in a really good mood,” an eyewitness at the store tells PEOPLE. “She was very friendly and sweet. She signed autographs and seemed to have a great time.”
Could it be that the extremely unlucky-in-love Simpson has finally found her happy ending? I’ve outed myself in the past as a Jessica Simpson adorer so I for one hope that she has! Congrats Jess, but remember not to leave Eric alone around those man-stealing and fame-hungry mistress coyotes!
