After weeks of secrecy and rumors, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta‘s Jessica Dime has officially confirmed that she’s pregnant! LHHATL’s glow-up queen dropped the news in last night’s new episode, in a scene with fiancé Shawne Williams that was as simple and direct as it was sweet and loving and just all-around great. (Yes, we might be a little bit excited!)
Before we get to the scene itself, though, there’s one small question: When is Jessica Dime due? According to the tea in our report from a few weeks back — which came, as so much worthwhile LHHATL gossip does, from the good people at BestRealityBlog — Dime is allegedly “at least halfway [to her due date] if not more,” and “might even have her baby on the show this season.”
Depending on how long Season 7 lasts, that could indeed be possible, if Jessica Dime was five or six months pregnant when news of her pregnancy leaked, and LHHATL films into early summer, we might be treated to a Jessica Dime pregnancy special later this year!
As Dime reveals in her LHHATL pregnancy scene, the real reason she wasn’t drinking at Spice’s show during the Season 7 premiere was because she was pretty sure “there’s a baby in there.” Then, while she and Shawne wait for the pregnancy test to offer its verdict, they sit on the couch and reaffirm their love for each other.
Shawne also points out that since he’s about to try staging an NBA comeback (he’s currently with the G-League’s Iowa Wolves), he’s going to be away from home a lot. Shawne says that Dime may want to rebuild her rocky relationship with her mother, and Dime acknowledges that, while she and her mom haven’t had a good history since mom sent Dime to juvy back in high school, it might be time for the two of them to reconcile.
And then the pregnancy test says “Pregnant”! It’s a beautiful moment. (Not least of all because the pregnancy test really does straight-up say “Pregnant.” Whoever thought multiple pink and / or blue lines or a plus and minus sign or any of that other confusing stuff was a good idea?)

Jessica Dime and her fiancé Shawne Williams were engaged last April, and have been planning their top-secret wedding since then. They were outed as a public couple in November of 2016, when clips of their sex tape leaked online.
Since then, though, the two have been all business, repping each other hard on social media. Dime hardly even missed a beat after news of her pregnancy went wide, tweeting out a short and sweet message of thanks to all her elated fans:
