It’s been a while since we’ve posted about Lindsay Lohan, and it’s been even longer since we posted about someone being bitten by a snake — so it’s nice to be able to remedy both of those issues with a single article!
Lindsay Lohan is currently in Thailand doing whatever it is that Lindsay Lohan does these days, and she shared a poolside video story on Instagram that included the text “Snake Bite ♥ Now Peace.” Lindsay, who is sporting a bikini and sheer pullover, says in the clips: “I love this, so beautiful,” as she pans around the picturesque landscape. “Amazing place — aside from my snakebite,” she adds as she pans down to show her snake bitten ankle.
“Yeah, I got bitten by a snake on a hike the other day,” Lindsay reveals. “The positive side of it is I’m OK. Happy New Year and God bless. Ciao. Actually, My shaman told me it was good luck and positive energy, so God bless!”
My default reaction was to assume that Lindsay may need to get a better shaman, because any shaman that considers being bitten by a snake to be good luck is not a good shaman. But then I had a zen moment and realized that perhaps the shaman told Lindsay that to be bitten by a snake (especially in Asia) and to still be alive is good luck. That is not only good shamanly insight, but it is literal fact.
On a side note, do we have any herpetologists out there willing to offer up some info on what kind of snake it might have been that is native to Thailand and would have left marks like those on Lindsay’s ankle? I confess that I’m super curious!
Whatever kind of snake it was, we’re certainly glad that Lindsay is OK and able to continue to enjoy her Thai vacay.
