Real World alumni Ace Amerson (who’s real name is Clyde– who knew!) was arrested on July 5 for DUI. According to documents, Ace was charged with one count of driving under the influence and one count of driving to closely.
TMZ first learned about the incident which happened early Wednesday morning. Ace allegedly rear ended another vehicle in Carrollton, Georgia, and police were called to the scene. Law enforcement said Ace “appeared drowsy, slurred his speech and had trouble with his balance.”
Amerson admitted taking Benadryl as well as prescription medication. Police took a blood sample and are awaiting the toxicology results. Thankfully, no one was hurt.
We were first introduced to Ace on the Real World back in 2003 when he joined C.T. and Adam King in Paris. He went on to appear in four seasons of The Challenge including The Inferno, Battle of the Sexes 2, The Gauntlet 2, and The Inferno 3.
