Actor Evan Peters was a guest on Conan last night, and during his appearance, he revealed an experience while filming American Horror Story that he’d probably like to forget. Of course, some of his fans who were watching might wish they were Jessica Lange during the moment of his big reveal.
The AHS alum recalled the time while filming that he accidentally flashed his junk in Jessica Lange’s face for an entire scene. It wasn’t until after the scene was filmed that Sarah Paulson let him know of his overexposure, just in time to hear Jessica complaining to an assistant that he was flashing her the whole time.

For those who might be wondering, it was during the filming for Season 2’s Asylum that Evan filmed his “bare *ss” moment as Kit Walker, wearing a hospital gown while bent over Sister Jude’s desk. It’s also not the first time he has told this story.
Evan did get graphic for Conan when explaining exactly how the modesty pouch (it’s technical name) failed him. He even drew a diagram of how the special garment is supposed to work that couldn’t be shown on TV. According to Conan, it resembled a “mouse running into a net.”
“I put it on, and we did the scene, and afterward, Sarah comes up to me, kisses me on the cheek, and is like, ‘Oh, sweetheart, it’s OK.'” Peters recounted. “And I was like, ‘What, was I that bad?’ And I look over and Ms. Lange is telling the PA that apparently my balls were in her face the whole shot. Apparently, a c**k sock is not just a c**k sock, it’s a c**k and ball sock. So lesson learned. You’ve got to swoop down and sheathe the balls as well.”

Evan Peters is an AHS fan favorite. Many of those planning to tune in for Season 6 tonight hope that his Conan appearance means that Evan’s character will finally be revealed during episode 4 of American Horror Story: Roanoke.
