Are Lil Scrappy and Bambi getting married?! The rumors are true! A fellow Love & Hip Hop Atlanta cast member started a sea of stories earlier this spring by sharing what seemed to be an engagement ring photo juuust a touch too early. But now, with the Season 5 finale upon us, it looks like the Lil Scrappy and Bambi engagement stories can at last be confirmed–by Bambi herself, who talked freely about her wedding dreams to VH1!
As we reported at the time, it was Tammy Rivera who accidentally shared a photo of Bambi’s engagement ring on Instagram. She quickly deleted the post, but not before it was screenshotted and shared around the Internet in that old familiar ballet:

And the woman of the hour has since ended all speculation, confirming the “Lil Scrappy and Bambi getting married” rumors and giving LHHATL fans a preview of what to expect, nuptual-wise. Before that, though, Bambi explained how Scrappy managed to win her back in the first place–and on the difficult divide between she and Scrappy’s private lives and the characters they’re expected to play in public:
The whole time [we were apart] Scrappy, he never let up. He never stopped trying to get back with me. To be honest, the show is mostly the reason we have so many issues in our relationship. I feel like people perceive him to be a certain “character” and he’s really not that, like he’s not shown me that. You know what I’m saying? Every season there’s something, there’s something going on but obviously it’s way more dramatic on TV….The show is definitely the root of all of our issues. Without the show, we are fine until it comes back around and then we have all these issues. I was I was who I was before I got with Scrapp and so I really expect him to respect that. And he already was Scrappy, people perceived him to be a certain type of way. He has this certain image and it kind of clashes when we publicly have to get together.
So, should fans expect a long engagement? And will the couple allow their wedding to be filmed? Bambi answered those questions–and more:
I don’t think we’re gonna have a long engagement because, well, I’m pretty sure, like he’s real serious about wanting to get serious and not just about wanting to be engaged….I would be open [to filming the wedding] but as long as it’s–I don’t wanna have, like, go through a season planning a wedding. I would wanna do something a little more intimate, because a lot of those people who are our cast members are not necessarily people that I would want involved in that type of setting….Of course Tammy’s gonna be in the wedding. That’s my boo! Malaysia will definitely be there. She’ll probably be a maid of honor….I’m not like a really big flashy girl, but this ring is kind of flashy. I mean it just like has diamonds all around the band and then there’s like a nice thick stone in the middle with little stones around it. It’s definitely about that shimmer life.
