It’s been revealed that Danielle Fishel, the star of Disney’s Girl Meets World, quietly got divorced from her husband of two years, Tim Belusko.
Fishel filed for divorce in late October, 2013. The uncontested petition was finalized on March 17, 2016.
Fishel and Belusko attended Santiago Canyon College in Orange County together. During this time, Fishel offered to tutor Belusko, a craft-beer salesman, in math. Fishel told People in 2013 that she was cautious at first about dating Belusko because of their age gap.
“I was hesitant because he’s seven years younger. But he’s so mature. Now I just want to keep calling him husband. It’s awesome. We’re on the same team forever,” she said at the time.
Fishel, 35, is still busy reprising her role as Topanga Matthews, née Lawrence, on the Disney Channel reboot.
