Adult film star James Deen, who gained notoriety as the male counterpart in Teen Mom Farrah Abraham’s Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom video, had his home raided by California state authorities last week.
Via LA Weekly:
A Cal/OSHA inspection warrant was executed at the private residence/office/studio of James Deen,” said Erika L. Monterroza, director of communications for the the state Division of Occupational Safety and Health, aka Cal/OSHA.
Monterroza indicated that the Los Angeles Police Department assisted with the raid.
The actions were part of a state investigation into Deen’s eponymous production company. The investigation began after an official complaint filed by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation alleged “serious workplace health and safety violations.”
This news comes on the heels of a massive scandal in which a number of women accused Deen of sexual assault. The scandal started when former girlfriend and fellow adult cinema star Stoya accused Deen of rape. Farrah Abraham also came forward, stating that she, too, was raped by Deen.
Deen has denied these claims, tweeting, “I want to assure my friends, fans and colleagues that these allegations are both false and defamatory.”
