VIDEO Joe Giudice struggles to adjust to single fatherhood in first ‘Catch Up With the Giudice Family’ preview

Teresa Giudice Catch Up Bravo Special

Real Housewives of New Jersey may be on a hiatus until Teresa Giudice is released from prison next year, but that doesn’t mean her family is staying off TV that long….In an upcoming Catch Up With the Giudice Family special, we get a look at how her husband, kids, and extended family members are coping while she’s behind bars.

In the first preview for the multi-part special, the four Giudice daughters push the boundaries with their dad while Joe clearly struggles to do everything alone.

“I mean, he’s like pretty good,” oldest daughter Gia Giudice told aunt Melissa Gorga during an outing at the nail salon. “He tries his best, but it’s rough without my mom there.”

After some scene of the kids playing havoc, Joe added it’s been “rough.” But, the good news is that chasing after the girls led to him losing 10 lbs.

Although we don’t see Teresa in the preview, a couple of her phone calls home are featured. Joe joked, “It’s amazing how she still controls everything even from the penitentiary.”

The preview also included the Gorga family, with Joe Gorga saying he wanted to repair his strained relationship with his sister. The other big question is what would happen if Joe Giudice — who is an Italian citizen — was forced to leave the country because of his convictions.

Watch the first part of the special in October.
