Bobby Brown is a father again. Brown and wife Alicia Etheredge welcomed their second child, a daughter, this weekend, at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.
Brown and Etheredge have been together since 2007. They married in a Hawaiian ceremony in June of 2012, and have one older child–a son, Cassius, who is five.
Brown has recently been shuttling back and forth between LA and Atlanta, where his daughter Bobbi Kristina remains in hospice. Bobbi Kristina was admitted to the Peachtree Christian Hospice facility on June 24th; family have been keeping a near-constant bedside vigil since then.
Brown recently performed at a July 4th concert in Atlanta, with both Bobbi Kristina in hospice nearby and his wife pregnant on the other side of the country. He struggled for much of the performance, and asked the crowd to stay with him, saying, “I’m in a different zone right now.”
This past May, Brown found himself the recipient of some criticism when he threw Etheredge a baby shower at their Atlanta-area home. At that time, Bobbi Kristina was in a rehabilitation facility in DeKalb County, and reports of her condition were sketchy.
According to Brown’s publicist, mother and daughter are doing fine.
