American Idol had it’s fair share of showstoppers during the Atlanta Auditions Episode Wednesday night including the incomparable “Pants on the Ground” and “Mugshot” Skiiboski. But, the real sweetheart of the Idol rodeo was Stephanie Wolfe, the 19-year-old bridge-jumping country girl from Vonore, TN that twanged out a Southern-fried version of Bob Dylan’s “Wagon Wheel.” The judges were instantly smitten by HillBillie Holiday’s pipes and personality, giving her the coveted Golden Ticket!

As you might expect, any smalltown Tennessee girl with dreams of making it big and an admiration for Old Crowe Medicine Show (The great alternabilly band whose version of “Wagon Wheel” was the one Vanessa was familiar with) is gonna have a myspace presence! Her profile has been deleted and all that remains is this little cached image revealing she went by “Vanessa jo Wolfe:”
