On tonight’s episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta, Mama Joyce apologized to her son-in-law for some things she said about his mom.
She invited everyone over for a house warming party for the house her daughter Kandi bought her, but Todd felt he had to have a few drinks before the get-together to even face her.
Todd’s mother Sharon recently passed away from a stroke, and Joyce apologized to Todd for calling her a prostitute on camera in the past. She did, however, try to defend herself by saying that “anything that I’ve said against your mother, it was something that someone told me. It was nothing that I had ever made up, and my biggest problem is repeating what someone had told me, and you should not do that. And that I what I did, because I’m a better person than that.”
Kandi was glad that Joyce apologized to Todd, but Todd felt it wasn’t genuine. “Repeating what people tell you in the streets?” he asked. “We have a lot of work to do.”
