LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian’s VH1 pseudo-reality show canceled after one season

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian VH1 Show Canceled

Score one for Brandi Glanville… LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian’s VH1 show, LeAnn & Eddie, has been canceled after just eight episodes, multiple sources confirm.

After a year of hype — which saw rumors like those that LeAnn and Eddie were hiring actors to play his sons — the show premiered to a measly 374,000 viewers in July. Its run concluded in September. Although LeAnn and Eddie were criticized for seeming scripted (among other things), she said that was the point of the show.

“We’re doing a TV show based on our reality,” LeAnn said before the premiere. “We’ll take things out of our lives and elaborate them and make them funny. People have been laughing at us – we want them to laugh with us!”

Following news of the cancellation, LeAnn posted a photo that said “built from the ground up.” She added, “And proud of it…. #stillbuilding #since5yearsold lol #letsdothis #strength #persistent #dreambig.” (She also added it was “in no relation to anything other than promoting kicking butt for yourself,” but you be the judge.) It also seems worth noting that in the post right before that she continued to fuel baby rumors by posting a onesie and saying she’s buying it for her baby.
