Ugh, isn’t it such a shame when shows like I Want to Marry Harry actually get made while other sure-to-be classics never see the light of day? Barely Legal Pawn seems to be in the latter category because, although it’s getting a little pre-Emmy circulation, it won’t get to realize its full potential as a Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul-led network show. (Not that this was ever a possibility. Just something I would totally support.)
To promote the upcoming Emmy Awards, the Television Academy managed to get the former Breaking Bad costars reunite for an awesome Pawn Stars spoof.
The clip also features Emmy-winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus who’s trying to make enough spare cash to buy her own island… But it’s not as easy as she expects when she has to contend with Buzz Jackson (Bryan) and Randy Jackson (Aaron).
The video features some awesome Breaking Bad references — look for the Los Pollos Hermanos sticker! — as well as a big twist ending.
The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards air on NBC on Monday, Aug. 25 at 8/7c.
