The most watched reality show on cable returns June 11 as the bearded braggadocios of A&E’s Duck Dynasty return for a sixth season of hi-larious hi-jinx. To promote the new season, A&E has released a series of brief preview clips that include a repelling repelling wedgie incident, and appearance by Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, and John Luke getting his turn in the spotlight — with a little “help” from pop Willie and uncle Si.
The premiere episode, which airs Wednesday, June 11 at 10/9c, will feature Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal as he pays a visit to Duck Commander to present Willie Robertson with a commerce award. Willie’s son John Luke volunteers to give the introduction speech, and of course it begins to turn into a patented Robertson men horse designed by committee courtesy of Willie and Si. Here’s a brief preview of them “helping” John Luke. (Pay close attention to how much of his speech John Luke shares before the advice starts rolling in.)
As mentioned above, the fellers (or at least one of the fellers) attempts to tackle a repelling wall as the Robertson men appear to go through fireman training, and the result is Willie having a bit of a quack problem:

Cable’s #1 unscripted show continues with a new season of Robertson family antics. Phil is more tangled in the never-ending battle with the beavers on his land than the family’s multi-million dollar duck call business. Meanwhile, boss Willie is trying to keep everything afloat while managing brother Jase’s deadpan humor alongside Uncle Si’s backwoods philosophies. And outside of the family business, Miss Kay decides she has time to take up coupon-cutting while the whole family gathers around to cheer on Reed as he graduates from high school.
Though it was not mentioned in the A&E press release, we assume that Martin’s engagement to girlfriend Brittany Brugman will also be featured this season — perhaps in the finale?
