Jersey Shore spin-off stars and real-life friends Snooki and JWoww rival many of television’s iconic duos — and they don’t want us to forget it! The Snooki and JWoww semi-reformed party girls teamed up with Buzzfeed and The Ragsy to dress up as some of pop culture’s most memorable pairs.
The ladies also mused on who would be or play whom in the classic shows: Neither would be Paris or Nicole, JWoww would be Laverne while Snooki would be Shirley and JWoww would play “whoever is taller” from I Love Lucy — although neither knew who Lucy or Ethel really were.
“Never saw it,” JWoww said. “Is that the one with Brad Pitt?”
In terms of their own legacy, JWoww is glad that the younger generation “kind of grew up” with them. They are also grateful for the connections they made on Jersey Shore, adding they both keep in touch with Sam, Ron and Pauly.
Like television’s classic pairs, Snooki and JWOww also have their differences. The most notable discrepancies include their celebrity crushes, dancing skills and how to go about family planning.
“She changes her mind every week,” Snooki said of JWoww potentially expanding her family with boyfriend Roger. “Last week she’s like, ‘We’re going to try.’ And I’m like, ‘Ohh, so excited!’ And then I just asked her now and she’s like, ‘No.'”
“If it happens, it happens,” added JWoww. “Planning is a pain in the a**. Planning a wedding, trying to plan kids, all that shit. I’d rather just go with whatever.”
In spite of the ways the ladies’ lives have changed since Jersey Shore premiered, they still like going back to Seaside — albeit for very different reasons than in the late 2000s.
“It’s, like, quiet and family-oriented, and that’s our lifestyle,” Snooki commented.
