New Moon fever has gone pandemic as the latest installment of the Twilight Saga gets closer to premiering nationwide. Robert “Patient Zero” Pattinson will be appearing on The Late Show with David Letterman tonight and fans and photographers were lying in wait in anticipation of his arrival at the Ed Sullivan Theater:

This is a celebrity blog with “sarcasm” built right into our very identity, but this is one of those instances where I have to yield right of way. Robert Pattinson is darn cool. There, I said it. Even if his people hired that little girl to be there with a book to autograph, that just means he is savvy enough to have people savvy enough to hire that little girl to be there with a book to autograph.
And since I’m outing myself as not being a Robert Pattinson hater, I might as well let it all hang out by saying I’m actually looking forward to his interview.
