Today co-host Savannah Guthrie is engaged.
Her boyfriend of over 4 years, Michael Feldman, proposed over Mother’s Day weekend, the 41-year-old revealed on the show this morning.
Guthrie showed off her new ring and joked that no one could accuse the two of rushing into marriage after their long courtship. “Our families basically have been in-laws for years. They’ve just been waiting for us to catch up.”
The marriage to Feldman, a political and communications advisor, will be Guthrie’s 2nd. She was married to BBC News presenter Mark Orchard from 2005 until 2009.
Matt Lauer said, “Good for you and congratulations to Mr. Feldman. He’s a great guy.”
