Andersom Cooper interviewed Charles Ramsey, the Cleveland man who rescued the young women who had been imprisoned in his neighbor’s house for over a decade, and it was amazing.

Not only did Charles Ramsey make a bold move to investigate a scream, and then kick in a door, but he also has a way with words.

The day it happened, Charles saw Ariel Castro to give him some mixed up mail. After that Castro left, and Charles went to McDonald’s. When he returned and started eating, he heard the screams. Another neighbor approached the door with Charles, who was still holding his Big Mac, but soon ran away. “So here I come with my half eaten Big Mac,” Charles says. “And say ‘What’s up?’ And she’s like ‘I’ve been trapped in here, and he won’t let me out. It’s me and my baby.’ And I say, ‘You don’t have to talk no more. Come on.'” I try to get the door open and can’t because he done torture chambered it up.”
