Elin Nordegren reportedly got $100 million in her 2010 divorce settlement with Tiger Woods, but that’s a paltry sum compared to how much her new boyfriend is worth: $1.2 billion.
Page Six has a source saying that Elin (33) is dating Chris Cline (55,) a billionaire coal mining magnate who lives in the mansion next door to the sprawling Palm Beach house Elin got as part of her divorce settlement. “Elin and Chris have been dating since the holidays,” their source confirms.
Elin actually completely demolished her $12 million in January 2012 so she could completely rebuild it from scratch. According to her builder, it wasn’t an attempt to erase bad memories, but because her 17,000-ft., six-bedroom home wasn’t built to current hurricane codes.
Billionaire Chris Cline
Chris is a father of four from two previous marriages. In 1987 his first wife Sabrina succumbed to breast cancer. He married his second wife in 1993, but they divorced by 2000.
The coal money has certainly treated him well. Cline owns a $30 million 164-foot yacht he named ‘Mine Games,’ which has five bedrooms, and rents out for $265,000 per week when he’s not hosting fabulous parties.
The billionaire usually stays out of the headlines, but last September he hosted a Mitt Romney fundraiser at his $10.5 million home, and was also the victim of a bizarre extortion plot last year. A 25-year-old man threatened to kill Cline’s family if he did not turn over $13 million.
Elin’s no stranger to dating billionaires; her last boyfriend Jamie Dingman was also in the Big B club. They started dating in 2011, and split May 2012.
Meanwhile, Elin’s ex Tiger Woods has moved on with Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn, and Elin and Tiger have been spotted spending some time together with their kids.
