Supermodel Cara Delevingne gets a midnight meal at McDonald’s during New York Fashion Week

You wouldn’t know it from looking at her new UK Vogue spread, but Cara Delevingne has a weakness for McDonald’s hamburgers.

“First thing I do when I get to America… get a McDonalds,” Delevingne recently tweeted. It doesn’t seem to just be talk, either. The 21-year-old covergirl has shared pictures of a McDonald’s feast and a selfie of her eating an In-N-Out burger.

She also admitted to eating McDonald’s for lunch and pizza for dinner the day before she took the runway for her Victoria’s Secret debut.

“I need to eat a lot otherwise I feel faint. I get in the worst moods if I don’t eat,” she told Beauty High.

Delevingne shares her love of fast food with friend Rita Ora, a British singer (and Rob Kardashian’s ex-girlfriend).

“I usually get Chinese food or McDonald’s,” Ora said. “I always get a Big Mac; you have to, why do people get all those little decorations like chicken nuggets?”

The ladies manage to keep svelte figures for now, but it will become trickier in a few years. According to Dr. John Berardi, author of “The Metabolism Advantage,” the average person’s metabolism slows down at a rate of 5 to 10 percent each decade after turning 25. That means the body is naturally burning fewer calories, even if other lifestyle factors remain the same.

In order to maintain their forms, Delevingne and Ora will have to ramp up workouts or cut back on fast food.

UPDATE: Delevingne was photographed at 1 a.m. on Thursday ordering a Big Mac, large fries and large drink at a NYC McDonald’s.

Delevingne was in town for New York Fashion Week. Today is her last day on the runway, so the indulgence may have been a personal reward for making it through.
